Passport and Visa

For your hunting safari to Burkina Faso it is necessary to get a passport and a tourist visa. Your passport must be valid for three months beyond the intended stay and have enough blank pages for the appropriate stamps upon arrival. A tourist visa can be acquired through the internet from the Burkina Embassy in the United States. It will cost 75 $ and will take approximately three weeks to receive. To apply for the tourist visa it is necessary to already have a passport that you will send in the mail and which will be returned to you with the three month tourist visa inside.

Flying to Burkina Faso

A ticket from the United States to Burkina can be purchased online or from a travel agent. Typically flights through Paris are best. We will be more than happy to assist you in purchasing your ticket to best coordinate for a smooth flight. A stop in Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris is the only stop you will make before flying into Ouagadougou, the capital of Burkina Faso.

Arrival in Burkina

Upon arriving in Ouagadougou, the capital, you will be met by your hosts, assisted through customs, and put up for the night in a hotel. In the morning you will make the 8 hour drive to the hunting concession where your hunt will begin.
