Burkina Faso
Burkina is a landlocked, sub-Saharan country located in West Africa.
French, the official language, is spoken there along with many
other native languages. The currency of the country is the CFA
franc. Burkina is made up of flat plains, low hills, savannas,
and some desert area. The country is and has been politically
stable for some time. It is very safe for travel and is known
for its hospitality and openness. The people are mostly farmers
who work the land and raise livestock.
